This two-part series invites us to explore fascia as the living fabric through which inner knowing takes form. Before cognition or structure, there was motion. Embryonic movement sensing itself into being. From this motion, form arises, and through fascia we continue to sense ourselves as form. This series is an introduction to SomaSensing fascial unwinding, a trauma-informed somatic approach to healing. Fascia is more than structure; it is a hidden sense, a fluid, responsive matrix that perceives through vibration, pressure, and flow. It is the body’s continuum of communication, extending beyond the nervous system. When we listen through fascia, we attune to the subtle rhythms that sustain coherence and vitality.
For seasoned somatic practitioners, this series offers a paradigm shift, from guiding movement to listening through the living fabric of embodiment itself. Each session deepens this inquiry through embodied practice and fascial unwinding, an intuitive process that emerges from a state of rest.
Participants will learn to:
• Sense fascia as the continuum between motion and form, where perception and movement co-arise.
• Explore embryonic movement as the source of somatic intelligence.
• Experience fascial unwinding as the body’s natural process of reorganization.
• Reconsider trauma-informed work through fascia’s intelligence — where coherence emerges through felt connection, not technique.

Yasmin Lambat is a Master Somatic Movement Therapist and founder of SomaSensing™, a fascia-informed methodology that redefines fascia as the body’s primary somatic sense—the living web through which we experience ourselves as whole.
After more than 30 years exploring movement and manual therapy, Yasmin recognised a recurring pattern: conventional methods often fragment the body into systems requiring separate interventions—strengthening, stretching, or releasing parts in isolation. Each approach addressed symptoms but overlooked the body’s constituent intelligence and wholeness.
Initially introduced to fascia as structural tissue, her understanding evolved through somatic practices such as Feldenkrais, Trager, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Eric Franklin’s work. These revealed the subtle process of quieting, sensing natural patterns of motion, effortlessness, and ease.
This deepened her connection to fascia as a sense, leading to her discovery of fascial unwinding—the body’s innate capacity to self-organize when truly listened to.
Through her ISMETA-approved program, Yasmin aims to reach movement professionals and bodyworkers to sense fascia and embodied coherence—shifting from technique accumulation to an integrated, sensory way of knowing.
