    Dear colleagues,

I am a recent graduate of the IBMT programme, and also work for the National Health Service in the UK leading peer support in mental health and neurodiversity services. This year I am on a research fellowship with University College London/ National Institute for Health and Care Research.

I am exploring whether somatic education might be a useful intervention for autistic adults accessing mental health services, and compiling a review of clinical literature around the topic.

Do any colleagues know of published clinical trials of somatic therapy/education of any discipline, please? If so could you share them here or email to emma.flint@ucl.ac.uk

    Warm wishes to all,

    Em Flint

    Hello Em,

Thank you for reaching out. Great to hear from you and happy to help out with your search if I can by introducing you to members of our Research and Publications committee. I’ll send you a separate email.

Also, great to see your connection to UCL. I recently presented at UCL with a few others in the Somatic Movement community through the psychology department. If you were able to attend wonderful to hear from you again. If not looking forward to possibly meeting another time.

    Take care,

Richard Sims, Board President of ISMETA
