ISMETA presents an in-person Special Topic Conference
Cultivating Connections: Somatic Movement with Ourselves, Others, and the Earth
September 26 - 28, 2025 | Hotel Albades | Benicàssim, Spain
In an increasingly fragmented world, Somatic Movement practices offer opportunities for connection. This in-person conference will provide a forum to explore practical strategies for building skillful relationships with ourselves, others, and the natural world. We invite you to join us in the beautiful coastal town of Benicàssim, Spain. Experiential somatic movement sessions, panel discussions, current research presentations, and curriculum design workshops directly related to the theme of “Cultivating Connections” will be presented.
While there is still room in the conference, hotel rooms in Benicàssim are booking up quickly.

REGISTRATION COSTS:
The registration fee includes all conference sessions, lunch on Saturday, and coffee/tea breaks. This cost does not include hotel rooms, breakfasts, or dinners. Stay tuned - Optional evening events, such as dinner and a flamenco performance, are being planned for an additional fee!

Please note: For shared rooms, you are responsible for finding your own roommate (if you don’t have one already) by registering for the conference, joining the WhatsApp community (you'll receive an invitation to join when you register), and then selecting the “Shared Accommodations” group within the community.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Conference registration fees will be refunded or transferred according to the following schedule:
• 75% refund of conference registration fees through July 26, 2025
• 50% refund of conference registration fees between July 27 and August 26, 2025
• After August 26, 2025 (1 month before the conference), no refunds will be available. However, registrations may be transferred to another individual through September 22, 2025 for a fee. (Please see details below.)
Registration transfers:
• Please note that the individual receiving the transferred registration must have an ISMETA membership to receive a membership registration rate. ISMETA membership is not transferrable.
•To request a registration transfer, please email: conferences@ismeta.org. No transfers will be possible after September 22, 2025.
• The fee schedule to transfer a registration follows this timeline:
• $25 fee through August 26, 2025
• $50 fee August 27 – September 22, 2025
• No transfers after September 22, 2025
